1.SINGLE CYLINDER TWO STROKE PETROL ENGINE TEST RIG (Make: Bajaj Scooter)

A Test rig provided study of a Single Cylinder two stroke petrol engine testing. The rig comprises of Single Cylinder Two Stroke Petrol Engine coupled to a Dynamometer. Apply to various load through Dynamometer. With the help of various measurements provided the test rig. Can determine BHP, IHP, mechanical and thermal efficiencies, air fuel ratio, and specific fuel consumption.

Specifications:

• Engine: Single Cylinder Two stroke Air Cooled Petrol Engine.
• Rope Brake Dynamometer: Belt around water cooled brake drum and spring balance.
• Air intake measurement: Air intake reservoir with orifice plate and differential manometer.
• Fuel measurement arrangement: Fuel tank mounted on a sturdy iron stand, burette tube, 3-way cock connecting tube.
• Multi-channel Digital Temperature Indicator: to Measure the temperature.

3.FOUR CYLINDER FOUR STROKE PETROL ENGINE TEST RIG

The Test Rig provided study of a four cylinder four stroke petrol engine testing. A rig comprises of a four cylinder Four Stroke Petrol Engine coupled to a Dynamometer. Apply to various load through Dynamometer. With the help of various measurements the test rig can determine - BHP, IHP, mechanical and thermal efficiencies, air fuel ratio, specific fuel consumption and heat balance sheets at various loads. Special arrangements are provided by switches for cutting off ignition of each cylinder for Morse Test.

Specifications:

• Engine : Four Stroke Four Cylinder Petrol Engine (Assembled Engine)
• Rope Brake Dynamometer: Belt around water cooled brake drum and spring balance.
• Accessories: An ignition switch, a radiator, a self Starter, a battery ammeter, a throttle control with an indicator for throttle opening. Special arrangements by switches for cutting off ignition of each cylinder for Morse test, all mounted on a suitable panel board, a battery for starting the engine, clutch arrangement.
• Fuel arrangement: Fuel tank mounted on a sturdy Iron stand burette tube, 3-way clock connecting tube.
• Cooling water arrangement: Cooling water arrangement by cooling piping. A measuring jar to determine the discharge of cooling water.
• Air intake measurement: Air intake reservoir with orifice plate and differential manometer.
• Multi-channel Digital Temperature Indicator to measure the temperature at various points.
• Exhaust Gas Calorimeter: The whole unit is mounted on a sturdy frame.

• Engine : Single cylinder Four stroke water cooled, vertical diesel engine developing 5 BHP at 1500 rpm
• Rope Brake Dynamometer: Belt around water cooled brake drum and Spring balance.
• Air intake measurement: Air intake reservoir with orifice plate and differential manometer.
• Fuel measurement arrangement: Fuel tank mounted on a sturdy iron stand, burette tube,3-way cock connecting tube.
• Multi-channel Digital Temperature Indicator: to measure the temperature at various Points.
• Water circulated exhaust Gas Calorimeter: the whole unit is mounted on a sturdy frame. A technical manual accompanies the unit.
